So, it didn't go as well as expected. The replacement good we got in was black :/ but we thought we would give it a try anyway. Yeah, it didn't cover at all we are peeling the plasti dip off of the hood having it painted white and then re-plasti dipping it, along with the rest of the Jeep. I love the color, not so happy with the coverage. As you can tell in some of the pics it seems to be more of a glaze... And, where we peeled off the tape it peeled up some of the dip. It's been a good learning process though and will hopefully be trail ready sooner than later

You should of gone with a wrap. That never would of been an issue. You get what you pay for when it comes to this stuff. So if you want a good result, pay for it. Just have it painted the color you want sense ur painting it anyways. We did the same thing, took the cheap route and got burned. Paid more and got the desired result. We only plasti dipped the rims and bumpers and it looks fine. That was my sisters call tho, I still would of prefered to have them powder coated.

So the lift has been sitting in my garage for about a month now, I have had no time to put it on and it looks like I wont have time in the near future. So the job is getting outsourced to my buddy and he'll get it done. Originally I was gunna do it with him sense he has the equipment, but its gunna have to get done with out me. It should be going in soon and i expect it should be done in about a week.

Just the bumpers and rims. The pink is a wrap. Hinges are painted.

We are unsure about the body lift as of now. I think to run 35's we will need it so we do not rub with a full flex. But not sure yet. And thanks. This has taken alot longer than it should have but its finally pretty much done. The 33's that are on it now have alot of life in them so 35's will be down the road. We hope to eventually do custom bumbers but thats a few grand more not quite ready to be shelled out, and of course we will add lights.

You can see it a little better this way. We need to add limiting straps to it.

I had a pink '99 TJ, 4 cylinder, 5 speed until last November she's totaled now, but it wasn't my fault. It was the best thing I've ever owned! I even went as far as getting a pink tattoo of the jeep grill after I totaled it in memory.. I guess it's just a jeep thing. Your sister is going to really enjoy that jeep! Pink jeeps are definitely attention grabbers!
