Project Jeep

I have been looking for a wrangler for several years. It will be my third vehicle (there are five of us in the family and I need two vehicles that can carry all five of us).

Today I saw this on craigslist nashville, TN:
98 Jeep Wrangler Sport Project

Has anyone undertaken this kind of project and made a go of it with little expense?

Looks like a great way to get into a TJ for cheap. Just make sure everything to complete it is there.

It is quite a risk! A little more money will get you a complete project jeep.

Hmmm...Hit by semi and the frame is strait? Needs just about every thing and I have the used parts. Sh111t. I would not touch that with 4points money.

thats not that much work. if all the parts are there you could put it together in a weekend if your up for it. dont get me wrong, its alot of work and would definitely require a few cases of beer to finish but i think it would be worth it if your up for it.

I personally would find something better and easier to manage for that price

I'd buy and try it. The parts there are worth more than hes asking.
