Slowly she comes to life

I bought this 97 TJ about two months ago. It was in bad shape, engine knock, front end popping, brakes were mush, top was ready to dry rot, etc... I have done a lot of work to it and had a few others get dirty along the way too. It's not done yet, but mostly just cosmetics now. Still need to install the smitty tube fr bumper, two new fenders, rugged ridge flares, relocate mirrors, and a fresh coat of beach bum aqua.

Looks great after the paint. I really like your tire cover image too, being that I'm from California. I would add the black headlight bezels, and black headlight and tail light guards to finish it off. You might even consider the black turn signal and side marker guards too. Although, I don't know how well the side marker light guards will fit with your new flares.

I think you my have something there. Those black headlight bezels would look really good. I like the idea of those guards too. Maybe wait a few weeks as the paint job left me blowing the dust around inside my wallet.

LOL. I can imagine that. It looks great though. A good personal detail would be fun to do now too. Another thing is great; I didn't see any rust in your pictures. Welcome to the family.

If you like the black headlight bezels you can save yourself a few buck (I presume) by just painting the ones currently on your jeep. I used Rustoleum Bedliner to do mine, the removal process takes about 5 minutes, tops.
