If you are going to spend the cash on Bilsteins, why cheap out with spacers? For just a little more than the price of the shocks you could get some nice 2" springs.

Being that this is a 2"bb thread what are you expecting? Some of us dont leave the asphalt and fire trails. I have no need to spend $2500-$3500 on a full blown lift just to stay on the asphalt or dirt. I dont rock crawl or "wheel" but I do want a nice looking jeep with proportionate sized tires which usually requires a little more clearance than stock. But if you have the need and the budget More power to ya!

The local 4wd place recommended the spacers when I looked into replacement springs because they said youre changing all the factory specs etc. They do that for a living but said based on my needs, a bb was the best route to go....

Awesome Sahara! That's what I want to do with mine. If you don't mind, what are your specs.

Any thoughts on getting front and rear 2" BB pucks, then retaining the factory spacers on the front to level the front-to-rear rake??

You leave the stock spacers in anyway... at least I did

If you have front to rear rake now, it will look exactly like it does now except two inches higher
