2000 TJ 4.0 5 speed build!!
I got my 2000 TJ back in August of 2013 and have been trying to figure out the best setup for me ever since!!! I have researched lifts, suspension and tire/wheel combos till for a while now and want some other jeep guys opinions. So here's the setup I think would work best for me, a nice combo of on and off road performance!
I have already installed the skyjacker HD steering stabilizer. For a lift I think I wanna go with the rancho 3.5" lift RS6504 it seems to be a very complete kit and gives me the option to pick my shocks. I'm not sure on if I should go with the cheap rs5000 or rs9000xl. Do the shocks make that much of a difference? I was leaning more towards the rs9000xl because I've heard it does make it a much better ride. Does it? And being able to adjust them would be nice.
Tires--- I have pretty much made up my mind on the Mickey Thompson MTZ 33x12.5 r15 .
And the Mickey Thompson sidebiter 15x10 wheels. What do you think?
I want to make my jeep nice and do it right the first time! Thanks for the help and comments!
Thanks and KCCO
