Well... Guess its time for a little makeover...(build)

I was out in the garage today, talking about doing the plasti dip, bed liner thing... (the pics of what you guys have done look pretty good!) When said she was bored... I asked if she wanted to help or talk with me while I played around with it... She said...(OMG)... "I'm not going to watch you mutilate that pretty jeep".... she said PRETTY JEEP!!!!! ....It's on now......

So, I think the light bezels will be plasti dip'd, the grill, flairs and bumpers will be bed liner... not sure what to do with the mirrors, hood latches, and rear license plate holder yet....

if i was you i'd leave the grill red, i just like the look better but that's completely up to you! as for the mirrors... it just depends on how you like it i think they would look good painted to match the body

I saw a yellow one the other day with a black grill, really liked the look. I'll try that first, but I figure the whole thing is going to be blacked out pretty soon. Probably do the bed liner thing...

I used the Rustoleum bedliner w/roller on the grill, just pushed plastic up in there...just in case, didn't end up spraying it tho.

You did the canvas or just the window frame on your sliders with the bed liner? I was wondering if that would work alright on the canvas.

Bye Pretty Red Jeep

I went ahead and lined the whole jeep, the process went kinda like this...

First coat...

Second...

Third...

Still going to add at least two more coats, but I think I'll let these cure good first. Have to do some touch up also (nooks and crannies)...
I noticed the bedliner is pretty rough on the adhesive for the blue tape, makes it really soft and stringy, melts it I guess... Goo gone in a few days...lol
Lighting was pretty bad in the finished pics, I'll take some in the daylight this week.

Thanks! I've always liked the blacked out scheme.
I still have a few small areas where I can see roller marks, hoping another coat will get rid of that, but even if it doesn't, I'm good with it.
