Hmm well that wasn't much of a catchy title...oh well :)

I took delivery of my very first Wrangler on 10/22/13

2014 Hydro Blue Freedom Edition

Here we are about 20 minutes after I took delivery :)

after a few days - I decided to peel the star off the hood

Then I installed my new Truck-Lites

then took them for a drive later that night :)

I attempted to put my Vision X LED fog lights in - but apparently you can't take the old ones out without taking the whole bumper off...so that goes on hold until I get my Maximus-3 - then while the bumper is off - swap the lights and install that and call it a day.

I've also got some clear side markers - but that also appears to be harder than anticipated and will need to wait till I have more time.

I've also got some dome light LED's on order....and will probably add some short strips under the dash to replace those lights as well (need to figure out if I can replace the map lights or not still)

Hey! You didn't post the picture of the view from behind my steering wheel!

:lmao:

I can't like yours too much, Paul. I don't want to make my baby jealous. :D

Hmm for the sake of aesthetics and my slight OCD - I installed the homelink dead center right above the mirror....however in everyday practical use - that's almost out of my reach - I do have to stretch a bit to push the button.

it is however nice to have that feature incorporated in to my JKU now

and StarBrite - that shot was for you :)

Do you have any pictures or a weblink to the Homelink and the bulbs you ordered for the dome lights? Thanks

MAN! You start modding EARLY in the morning! LOL

You want to change the bulbs that are in the footwell? Or you want to add more? Doesn't it come with puny footwell lights?

new domes came in today's mail - that's why I've already done them this morning :p

if I can't replace the stock footwell bulbs with LED ones - I'll just cut the wires to them and wire up my own LED strips just to get the rest of my interior lighting to match.

I have considered even adding strips to the bottom of the doors that are wired to the domes so you can see the ground when you open the doors - more details here

Will you post some interior night shots, please?

I really like that step light idea. Especially now, when we live out in the middle of nowhere and there aren't many street lights! Can't wait to see how you do it! :)

Huh... I thought it was still dark till noon up there in Yooperland! :D

Like the look of the Hydro Blue, though I still prefer the dark color changing look of my True Blue Oscar Mike. I'm surprised to see that they no longer include the mineral grey wheels as part of the package like the earlier Oscar Mikes.

Another one of my first free mods will be to remove the Sahara bumper wrappers. :puke:

:lmao:

Hmm yeah I guess I could try that see how it looks...I might consider painting them to match the grille if I can find a color close

did you find a mirror map light LED solution?
No not yet - haven't had much time after work to sit in the Jeep and poke around with sharp implements
