Attention ALL JK Owners!!! I told ya it was coming, and now its here!!! Absolute Offroad's Emission Canister Skid For the 07 Jeep JK 2 and 4 Door, Including Rubicon!! Why does it look like the rear driveshaft goes down to the side?

have a friend measure twice, agree on what's to be done before it's done, and finally
making the modification only after sleeping on it for no less than 8 hours. |

Yeah, its going to be an issue with long travel JK's. If you look real close, you can see where the flange actually hits the fuel tank skid. There is ALOT of side to side movement in the JK. With the rear, with some of the cheaper lift kits, they use a rear trac bar relocation bracket at the axle. Its a crappy design, as they tend to tear off the factory mount. I fixed 2 this week already. One Skyjacker kit, one Superlift kit. Rk adresses this issue by having a 1/4" bracket that encompasses the factory bracket, and welds to the axle. Good stuff..
