I am reading reviews and trying to decide on a stroller for our coming baby.
It would be one with 12" (or larger) rear wheels, because we want to be able to take it out to snow and dirt.

Our 2-dr Jeep will not be our basic car, but still the option to fit the stroller in Jeep's cargo is a big plus.

Anyone with experience on this?

I have a 4 door and a baby stroller that has small bike tires on it. They looks about 12 inches or so. It fits in mine easily when I colapse it without any problem. Sometimes I jam it in there sideways without colapseing it, and it still has some room. I would think one would be able to fit in the 2 door one also if you colapse it. If you haven't bought a jeep yet, just measure the stroller colapsed first then measure the rear cargo area. Same if you have one.
