Door seal problems
The rubber seal at the bottom of my drivers side door keeps coming out of the guide/gutter/whateverthehellitiscalled and dangles loosely under the door. I can pop it right back in easy enough, but it shouldn't do this. I wasn't having this problem until after I installed the Mopar door sill guards, so I presume the rubber is getting stuck to the guard when I close/open the door. Anyone else having/had this problem, and if so, how'd you fix it or prevent it from happening...other than removing the sill guard?

Strange!? I have Mopar door sill guards on my '12, had em on my 2011 too and no issues with the door seal. Where the seal runs under the bottom of the door, it sits in a channel. In theory, if both sides of the seal are in the channel it shouldn't fall out.

Funny thing is I'm not having problems with the seal on the passenger door or either of the rear doors -- only the driver's door seal. The seal is sitting squarely inside the channel after I reinsert it, but after opening the door 2-3 times, it comes right back out again.
I did consider using super glue to make it permanent and immovable, but I'm hesitant to try that unless a last resort.
Weird stuff!

Try using a thin coat of silicone adhesive caulk. It will hold it on but still be removable if needed.

hi, u could try some tire shine on the rubber and a small amount on ur new door sill, it will keep it from binding, worth a try cost $0. :-)

Fyi, I have no sill gaurd or such and my seals are hanging on the bottoms. Most jeeps do, but it goes unnoticed. Junk. Just glue it and forget it
