Take lots of pictures of that fine Austin Healey.........it will be totaled within a year. You should buy her an old clunker to learn to drive. That car is priceless. Would hate to see it ruined. Yes, she will be the coolest kid in school, for a while. Darn, I am starting to sound old...........

Thumbs up Some of my new toys are here!

My lift just came in!

Here is the list of what I have planned for my Jeep so far:
  • Teraflex 2 1/2 Lift
  • ShrockWorks Bumpers and Rock Sliders
  • Warn 9.5Ti winch
  • Clover Patch window roll-ups
  • I'm still looking for a Wheel and Tire Sponsor for 2007

The Lift, Winch and Winch mounting plate are here now.

I'll put the lift on tonight.

ShrockWorks is shipping the Rock Slider next week and is promising the bumpers before the Texas Spur JJUSA.

I'll post pics of the lift tomorrow.

Have you seen the new ShrockWorks Bumper and Sliders would you like me to post some Spy Pics?

That looks really sharp. I bet it'll look great on your JK, Greg. But, just to be sure, we need to see pics of these goodies after you put em on.

Dang it, I'm trying to decide what I want on my jeep and you guys keep getting more stuff for me to drool over.

Those bumper and sliders have the ability to make me jump ship on the PJ stuff. Now, the real question is WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO BE AVAILABLE????? Everyone that is making stuff always says "available soon" but its always MONTHS away. If they were shipping them next week, I would jum ship on the PJ stuff RIGHT NOW. So...whats the ship date???

the info...

The Sliders are ready and shipping next week.

The Front Bumpers are out of Fab and will ship be the end of the month.

The Rear Bumper and swing out will be ready in March!

If you like I can send you the contact info for the guy I have been talking to.
We will have their ad link on JeepTales.com tomorrow.

I was in the shop today working with one of the Techs to bolt on the TeraFlex lift nothing to it! Tomorrow we will do my Jeep.

Working together we will have in on in two hours. One man by himself with the right tools could put it on in just over three hours.

Well...

After you talk to them...

If it comes down to you or me.

Tell them to ship yours first.

I can run the Jamboree with out a Front Bumper and winch.

There are going to be 150+ Jeeps there and I'd be willing to bet over 150 Tow Straps, I have three new ones and a new Tree Saver in my Jeep Bag now.

Right now TeraFex is backordering their Branded Shocks.

Since I like the ride of the Rubicon Shock I was okay with the extensions.

For the most part the ride and handling feels like it did when it was stock, which was a big deal to me.

The bumps at highway speed are a tad more harsh but not as harsh as a stock TJ.

Greg, Looks really good!!! How big of a lift is that??? How much time was it to get it installed??? Thanks for the bumper info, I really hope that I can get the stuff before EJS. I will be starting the suspension/driveline stuff in the next week or 2, I need to get it to the dealer next week, I have a t-case leak. I have not yet decided to be my own warranty station and fix it myself but to give the dealer a shot at it before I jump into it full steam. Wheels got here today, tires will be here next week, then it just has to all be happy together!!!! Enjoy yours, it loos really good!!

A few bumps

Well I just got back from the Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree...

What a Great Trip!!!

We collected over 6,900 Photos from the folks there we plan to put up on JeepTales.com by the end of the week.

Here are a few pick of my Rig after getting knocked around on the trail I have just over 3,000 miles on it now.

Can any of you tell who is driving my Jeep in the first two pics?

That was all my wife could say when I got home last night.

"Why; Why; Why? Why do you do it?"

I told her: "It was coaded in my DNA!"

I dont buy Jeep to keep them polished and perfect; I buy them to drive them and that is just what I did.

In fact; I did it to my last six Jeeps and No doubt, I will do it to my next one too!
