I Did It!

Say goodbye to my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon...

I'm kinda sad to see it go, but I sure like my new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon; and now it is time to start new long list of mods.

Hrere is a link to a few Photos I took today.

I guess I'll start looking for new sponsors for the 2007 JeepTales Season.

All of you can drive it.

How am I ever going to sell them if I will not let folks drive it?

Wink Last night I added some trail stuff to my Jeep.

A cork screw & a bottle opener*.

*Only for use back in camp after the Jeep is tucked away for the night.

I thiink I've just about decided on my new mods.

I think I have just about wraped up my Mods I want to get.

Here is what I'm thinking about doing to my new Jeep:

  • 3" TeraFlex JK lift
  • TeraFlex JK Gas Tank Skid
  • TeraFlex Rear Bumper with a Swing away tire rack
  • TeraFlex Front Bumper with a Winch mount
  • A new Ramsy Winch
  • 305/70 Tires and wheels

I'm still looking around for a new CB and a Antena mounting kit.

I'll post pics as I knock out the work.

Change That!

I heard back from Warn today and it looks like I will be getting a 9.5Ti next week.

So I guess I'll have a big red "W" on my Jeep next season.

I can do the lift in one day once I get it locked in.

I'm waiting to hear back from my tire and Wheel Sponsor.

Warn is going to make me a heck of a deal on the new front bumper in exchange for some high res. photos of the Bumper and winch on my Jeep.

So I may not have it finished I'm sure I will be done enought to play and have a good time.

My next mod....

Well since I'm going back with Warn and it looks like the TeraFlex Bumpers are still several months out; what do you think of this set up? But with a 9.5Ti not the Dualforce.

If you were me would you add the extra fog lights?

BTW: in March my Daughter and I are flying to El Paso to pick up the car my dad is giving her for her 15th B-Day. So she can start working on her DL in a stick. He did a 100% Frame off and this car is Perfect & Original in every way except for added seat belts and a new amp and speakers with an I-Pod Jack under the dash and a Lo-Jack in the trunk. My dad repainted for her in bright yellow.

1969 Austin Healey Sprite

Do you think that will give her the coolest car @ her High School?

Greg, don't buy those Warn lights just yet. I have that EXACT same set of Warn lights sitting in my garage. If you're interested in them I'll bring them to Llano so you can look at them. They're almost new.

BTW - I like that bumper.

How cold is it in West Texas Today Scout?

It's in the low 30s here right now.

Schools are closed and the dealership sent us home at 11:00.
