Oil change light wont turn off.

Since the last two oil changes, the 'time for an oil change' warning on the dash still has not went off. Is there a reset button somewhere?

Check your O&M .....Our Saturn has a push button under the hood and the Tahoe is a combination of key and accelerator pedal strokes.

just unhook the battery for a couple of minutes to reset the ecu you will lose radio presets and time. or you can look for the fuse to the engine computer (i do this on my car but havnt looked on the jeep for it yet) and just pull that for a few minutes so you dont lose presets and time

No need to pull the battery cable.

From a quick surf of the net........Stick the key in the ignition, turn it to on (Don't start), pump the gas pedal three times, turn the key off.

Yeah, gotta pump the gas pedal 3 times within 10 seconds. Also, with other warning lights such as the loose gas cap warning, it can take a while after getting it resituated before that light goes off. And the low tire pressure light may take a day or two to go off after you've re-inflated your tires to full pressure again.

Just lil tips so people done freak when they see them :-)
