I like the Teraflex Rock Guard Rock Sliders...light weight aluminum & strong, but you still have to drill, and if you are against that, these would not work.

I just installed there Rocker Knockers. Besides the cost you have to figure in powder coating and painting, unless you use a spray bomb can. They are very nice quality product, and easy to install.

X2 If you like the PSC items. The armor is where you have to drill all the holes into the body side.
If price is a issue, let us or most of your vendors here know and they can help you out with that or point you into a new direction on some different sliders! We would be more than happy to help...

Agree.....the Rocker Knockers Rock....(can I say that? )
PRO: They are VERY well built and will take a beating
CON: Yes, you will be drilling holes in your Jeep
You will be fastening them via nutserts, and nutserts suck.
Did I mention nutserts suck? Make sure you have the proper tool.
Last but not least...skip the powdercoat (IMHO)....just rattle can 'em....

Yes! You can say they rock!!
I really have nothing bad to say about the product. I think it is good quality, I like the design, and the bolts etc didn't bother me.
I do however think the spider on the face plate is a bit childish and ugly. I am not one for stickers and names of manufacturers of accessories on my Jeep. I just like a clean look for my own ride. The only decal I have is the ARB one on the front bumper and I am working on something to replace that one. I wouldn't even put stickers on the shocks.
Well anyway, we talked to PS and asked them if they actually manufactured there own inserts and cut the spider logo in. I offered to pay to have a custom one made with either no spider logo (just leave it blank) or if they had a water cutting machine I would supply an outline of a trout and they could cut that in its place. They were polite, but they didn't even want to talk about it. They said it was there form of advertisement and that's the only way they would make it. What we wanted for our own jeep was obviously not a concern of there's.
I know the first thing I do with every new vehicle is remove the vinyl sticker that dealers feel they need to attach to the paint of my new ride to advertise there dealership. I have heard many guys say the same thing. That is simply the way I feel about spiders, skulls, logos etc.
So one of the mod's I will be doing when I have a chance will be to have a new insert made for the Knockers. I will most likely change the ovals at the same time just for a custom look. I wish the company had been more willing to offer a little better customer service with a custom order.

I've been looking at the rugged ridge one as well. And both of them, rugged & spyder, I like because they function as a step rail too! Which is what I want with the side armor.
