Not quite as easy as simply pushing a button, but I hear that if you just release the two clamps at the leading edge of the soft top, it will auto-retract and you dont even have to get out of the Jeep.
of course, thats only if you are doing 70mph at the time you release the clamps.
Presto! Topless.

Yeah saw this online a month or so ago. $5000 is a little steep for me but would LOVE to do it. Curious if anyone has done this or has some money to blow and is gonna do it. Would love to hear about it.

Have you seen the base of it though? Its powered by a massive gray box that holds down in your trunk takes up all the trunk space. For 5 grand I wanna still be able to handle a lady back there. 5 grand will have to come down in todays market.

I can't imagine the soft top can be easier to fold down than the new cable top system on the 2012's.

Do you ever make a positive comment? Only been on here for a month, but haven't seen one, versus quite a few negative comments. It is really iritating.

Lets all try to get along.
Now as for the top, while a great idea I think the cost would prevent most folks from running one.

I always at least try to reason with a person. Some times people don't realize they are rubbing people wrong and won't until someone points it out to them. Growth opportunity is a good thing.

The cable system is also in the 2011 soft top, only takes like 2 minutes to take it down. I wouldn't be able to justify the big money that could be spent better elsewhere on other mods

Yeah waaaay to much $$$. My soft top on my 07 unlimited is a PAIN. anyone have any recommendations on an aftermarket soft top that's easier to put up and down? Really like the look of the fastback tops if anybody has any experience with those.

You're right, I've never helped anyone. Your orginal question was, "anyone seen this yet?" My reply was that it was old news and had been announced last year. In other words, yes, we've seen it. If you don't like what I have to say, please don't read it. Feel free to place me on your ignore list.
