Hey, new to forum. Searched for any posts on similar issue and found none. So I'll try to describe: it seems that when the Jeep is in the rain and then driving at highway speeds we get a "rattle" from the lower windshield/upper dash on passenger side. I use the term rattle but it is actually like that of water percolating and usually start to hear at 60+mph and the oscillation of the sound gets faster as speeds get faster. leads me to think there is some kind of drainage issue as it is worse if the vehicle has sat in the rain than if driving and it starts raining.
Has anyone else observed this? And this is on the 09 Unlimited by the way. |

Haven't had that one but seem to get some sort of rattle lately at highway speeds that sounds as if it is coming from below the steering column.
Have you taken it to the dealer yet? |

Don't know if there is a general "rattles" thread and believe me I'm not expecting my Jeep to be all buttoned up like our Cayenne, ML, GL, QX, or whatever was, but does anyone else have seatbelt anchors that rattle like metal on metal? Mine do and just wondering if that is "normal" or maybe something is defective.
We love our jeep though...more than anything we've owned. Just nit picking i guess.. ha |
