Default remote starter

i turned in my 03 liberty renegade KJ for my new 4 door sahara JK.....SOOOO HAPPY!!!!!! BUT my KJ was an auto and i had my remote starter in there and absolutley loved having the starter......my JK is now a manual......can that starter still be put in a manual.....i hear about some places that do it and some that dont because of liability issues....any thoughts or comments for me?......and obviously there is a chip in the new key fobs......but i dont want to give up my spare key fob.....so i ask this.....if i get the $6 vallet key will that have the chip in it so they can put it in the box and in the dash for the starter to work?
