It's just made of paracord, which is a decent material with a great tensile strength. The idea is if you're screwed you can come up with ideas to use it. Most likely would help for those of you who are McGyver's/former Navy SEALs and such.... But they do look like great grab handles!!!
You can use a length of para cord for a shoe string, you can indo the paracord and use the inner strings for fishing. It's survival thing gone main stream. I doubt that most people that buy them actually know that many uses of para/550 cord.
Paracord bracelets are basically a compact/neat way to carry paracord. It's also a way to always have a piece of rope on you at all times. Intead or having a bunched up lenngth of string in your pocket, you can braid them and wear it as a bracelet, a necklace, a belt, a watch band, ect. When you need it you just undo it. It's a survival thing.
