I bought a 08 jk unlimited sahara last march. The previous owner didn't do anything but bling it out (chrome grille, mirror covers and fuel cover). What's the first thing you'd do to a stock jk?
I had mine less then 500 miles before I lifted it and put 35s under it. You have driven yours since March, you must have some idea of what you want? I would remove the bling. Chrome is very 1980s.
I agree with Junacho.
Bought my stock 2008 3 months ago . Love it just the way it is for now. Haven't yet taken it off the road and just starting to make a list of things that I might change. Hopefully by making changes slowly and one at a time it's like having a "new" and "better" toy with each upgrade.
Just my opinion......
I'm kinda digging the chrome so it will stay until it breaks...: ) (Not that i would ever actually paid to get it.) I've done some light off roading with the jeep club I'm in but nothing serious yet. I may decide to get a lift kit and bigger tires to have more clearance. With the 4 door model I'm always afraid I might not clear the same areas as my 2 door buds out there.
I just got a '12 sport and had new mud radials, black alloys, neoprene seat covers , AFE exhaust and K&N intake within a couple hundred miles. No bling. To each his own.
