Alot of that probably depends on who is behind the wheel!

Big Bear!

I don't know about Big Bear...

But I do know tons of stock JKs have crossed the Rubicon Trail with no issues.

Other than some damage to the stock bumpers the Rubicon Trail is a 10.

The Big Bear area is listed as a 6-9.

With a good driver a stock JK Rubi, should hang with slightly modded TJs, and moderately modded YJs. After all you can go 33 in tires on a stock Rubi.

Actually maybe some slightly modified TJ's might be able to hang with stock JKs.

Jeep Profile
I have guided several on Jeep Jamboree's and they do just fine. Lets think about this for a moment.. 32" tires, 4:1 t-case.. Lockers... Hell put that in a 73 Nova and it will do the the trail okay. That being said I also have taken the bone stockers jk's, tj's zj's etc on some of the same trials the harder groups run, and while we might take a bit more time getting over them, might have to winch or strap abit more, we get done. Thus I think a Jk rubi in stock form shoul be fine,
