Why cant i "build my own"
I can't seem to "build my own" 2011 wrangler on the jeep website, only the grand Cherokee is available. Anyone know why or what I am doing wrong? Also, how similar do you all think the pricing is for a 2011 wrangler, compared to the given 2010 prices on the website builder.
Thanks
Rob

Not sure on the website but pricing I would think to be pretty close until it comes down to add ons, same color tops, leather seats etc but I'm sure you had that idea already just sayin

Somewhere I saw a pricing chart that said the JKU sport was about 1400 more but that's just if my memory and source serves me correctly.

I'm "working" with a salesdude now on pricing out a 2011 sport and the prices he's listing don't seem to be much more than 2010's (Could be setting me up for the ol' bait and switch since I haven't actually set foot in the dealership yet. hehe.....)

Was at the Dealer today getting on oil change on my 2010 Wrangler Sport and asked my salesman if there is a price increase on the 2011 and he said about $1,000 due to the new interior. Mine has a soft top so I would assume he is talking about a similar model in the 2011.

I am going to order my first jeep by the end of the month. Here is what the dealer gave me....
2011 4x4 unlimited sahara
- MSRP 29,945
- auto option - 825
-two toned leather - 900
-highest option media - 1035
-dual top - 1625
-side impact airbags - 490
-bullsh** destination fee - 750 (even if its being built right near me)
Total = 35,570
I get some discounts due to my work so it brings the price down to like 33K.
I am pretty sure I am not getting screwed.
I'm waiting to order because the Cosmos Blue is not in.
FYI - people have been ordering for a little while, and the jeeps were built, but they have been sitting "embargo" or storage until they are released. My dealer said they were expected Sept. 13th, but they were not 100%. Also no idea when the complete line of colors would be out.
hope this helps

Rob, you're not doing anything wrong.. Jeep just hasn't officially released the 2011 Wranglers on their website yet.. but here's some pricing info I found on this link: The hot new 2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited - see the changes with new interiors and body-color hard tops
The prices have gone up around $900, so that (all prices are for 4x4) the Sport starts at $22,795, Sahara at $27,995, and Rubicon at $29,995; Unlimited Sport goes to $26,295, Unlimited Sahara to $30,695, and Unlimited Rubicon to $33,495. Dealer invoice is around $700 below MSRP for Sport, $1,500 for Sahara, and $1700-$1,900 for Rubicon (standard and Unlimited).
