1990 YJ build

I picked up a 90 YJ in January

can you say bucky beaver lol







after a RE 2.5 lift 1" daystar body lift and 1/2" shackles



H4 head lights


new mirrors and relocation


smittybulit center consul




poison spider hood


got my cloaks in last week trying to figure out a color to powdercoat them


I'm also waiting on a HEI dizzy, MC2150 carb to show up and I've trying to get a set of 1" raised motor mounts installed hope to get all that done at some point next week

BCDonny, thanks man I really wanted to get rid of all the BS under the hood I can not believe how many vacuum lines this thing has going on

got the new carb installed
before vacuum BS removal

I hope to have it all done tomorrow i'll post some after pics I'm pretty excited she seemed to run pretty damn good before I hope it runs even better after this upgrade

Wow. That shiny new carb makes everything else look like crap. Rub some dirt or oil on that thing.

installed and tuned damn I though she ran good before very smooth acceleration, great idle and a noticeable increase in power



my horse power to weight ratio has increased for sure

Great progress! I just picked up a '93 YJ last week and removed the ugly chrome tube bumpers and the diamond plate rear end. It is black with tan interior. What tires and rims do you have on your rig? Mine is bone stock, but pretty solid base to work from. Can't wait to add a 2.5" lift and place new tires/rims on it. It's a 2.5L 4 cylinder.
I also like the center console you are using.

BunnyGN, they are the warrior products brand I actually have an extra set I would let go on the cheap

crash007, thank you its kinda slow going. mine was also pretty much stock except for the god awful shackle lift the wheels are 15x10 MB TKO I got them on sale for like 60 bucks each at discount tire the tires are goodyear wranglers 15x10x33. the center console is a smittybuilt

out with the old in with the new

just a size comparison

installed

maybe a couple hours of work and damn this sure did make her come alive I cant honestly say if the HEI or the carb was a better bang for the buck hands down the best 450 bucks (that's counting the dizzy and carb) i've spent so far I am a happy camper
