I may be wrong, but I thought there should have been an ECM attached to the end of those cut wires??? Not 100% sure on that. An advice would be greatly appreciated!

Uhh.. wow...

Yes there should have been an ECU attached to there. Should have been an ECU, the plugs for the ECU, the firewall bulk head connector and then that all feeds into where it is cut off at..

Shiit...

I can help you but man, that sucks horribly..

Also when you did your 350 TBI swap, you used the factory ECM from the donor motor??

There should be 2 bulk head connectors and a fuse box as well..

The easy way out of it is to get another harness from another TBI 350.

I mean we can work with what you have.. but it sucks that its all butchered.

Yes I used the factory ECM from the donor motor.

Well, the 94-95's were different from 93 and down. They used updated computers and the wiring pinouts are different. I have all of the papers, I could mail them to you or something.

Here is the ECU number you will want for a 95. Which is actually an updated part number for the units produced from the factory in 95.

I would buy this harness, and then a corresponding ECU, which is PN: 1227747
Found Here:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...6028&_from=R40

It will save a HUGE headache.

Throttle Body TBI Wiring Harness 86 92 GM Cars Trucks | eBay

Do that, and it's plug and play, no re-wiring bullshit hacked up 20 year old harnesses or connectors.

Its worth it.

It is the part numbers that make the difference.

Im striping a 94 Suburban right now, Just got the stuff off the motor, Trans and wiring are next.

Leaving the motor in, it has a blown ring causing GOBS of blow-by.

As soon as I have it apart, I can look for part numbers and what not if you need.

The Painless wiring harness is about $130 dollars more than the ebay one. It'd be nice if someone had experience with the both of them and could give a testimonial.
Painless Pt# 60101 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/prf-60101
The Painless harness is the one I have planned on using. Figured Id save myself headaches and frustration by splurging on a quality harness. But would really like to hear from some people who've used the one indirocz28 posted the link to.

The fuelinjectionconnection one I posted has been used by quite a few people across the net. They have had great reviews and results.

Hey guys, I've got a question. Where can I find the block casting number on my motor?? I've found some near the flywheel on the block. Is that it? R is it on the side of the block near the motor mount?? 95 TBI 350.

It will be marked on the left (driver side) rear top side of the block right below the head.

What does the casting number of the block have to do with it?

Reason I was askn was I found a salvage yard here that is willing to mk a deal with me. I got that ol gmc z71 in da yard an was curious if they would swap truck for all parts I need for swap. He asked for the block numbers so he could be sure he got me the right computer an flywheel. This way, minus the advanced adapters cost, ill get everything I need to finish up for no money outta pocket. Even worked it out to where I could get front an rear D44 axles an mabe just mabe a spare ax15!

Would this be it?

Yes those are near there. Maybe dig under the fuel lines some more. Should be a longer number.
Check the other side as well just in case.

I've got a question about a flywheel.... Is a 95 TBI 350 considered a gen2 r gen 3 motor??

Reason I'm askn is that the stock flywheel I can get from autozone is a 168T. I'm having a hell of a time finding a 153T.

Which one is the flywheel that came stock from factory??? Any help is greatly apreciated... I need to know this before I order my kit from A. Adapters.

Its a TBI 350, centerbolt valve cover and they are EVERYWHERE!

Here is your answer:
Step one: LEAVE AUTOZONE, those guys hire hacks and college kids with NO experience.

Go to Napa or Carquest, hell even O'rileys (formerly Kragen)...

Get the correct part....

Oh FYI, Flywheel? you mean Flexplate (for an automatic), perhaps this is only a terminology issue...

Oh and I have made NO progress son my Suburban disassembly, Family issues and all...

Gen III engines are LSx & LQ series engines starting in 1997 with the corvettes.

Why do you need a 153 tooth flywheel?

I was lookn for a 153 just to save a few bucks. Lol every penny helps!
I was askn this to be sure I ordered the right adapter kit for my trans. I'm keepn my ax15. So I need to get a flywheel. My motor got a flex plate.
Autozone near here, has old guys that know what they r talkn bout. Plus I get a bit of a discount there. Brand new flywheel for my motor is 75.99! Lol way cheaper than Novak r advance adpt.
