4.0 head on 4.2L engine

Check this one out too ^. The person that did a head swap/installed a header said, "auto tranny shift linkage bracket. had to cut a large v out of the bracket to clear exhaust flange. after removing the material, put a brace on the topside of bracket to make up for material loss."

That at least gives me an idea. Have a guy from a machine shop stopping by tomorrow for input. I figured a was going to have to fabricate "something". Will let you know & thanks for the help. We live in the middle if nowhere & I work 50+ hours a week so this is a big deal as it's my "release". Along with cold beer anyways

Not a problem. I hope you get her back on the road soon. Glad to hear you AND your wife
like Jeepin'. Same goes over here. I got one of those jobs/careers that keep you more than busy too. And sad to say, we just lost a great guy/friend at work a few hours ago. He was on 21 years. Anyway...good luck and keep us/me posted on your Jeep. Stay safe....
