93 yj build

hey guys i just bought my first project jeep in august, its a 93 yj with a 4.0 and as a bonus no rust! planning on a 4.5" RE lift and 33/12.50's

Nice looking jeep . No rust is definitely a bonus. Mine too was rust free. Trying to keep it that way I took it to car wash and cleaned bottom side real good. Let it dry then I painted the whole undercarriage black enamel with about eight rattle cans. That was 4 years ago and it still looks like new under it.

I have fun with that lift.

these wheels came with the jeep, i love them but theyre 16s. not sure if im gonna keep them or go with 15s

The wheels look really great, you can always sell them or trade them for something else if you really don't like them.

I love how they look but tires are so much more for a 16 than a 15

Nice jeep, is it a auto, or manual? I have a 93yj that I've been working on for like 6 months now. If you want to save some money, the rough country lift kits are far better then they used to be, I think my 4" lift was like 400ish (don't remember for sure.) you might want to look into new shackles also.

its a 5spd 4.0. and yeah im getting new shackles when i do the lift and im also probably going to do the shackle flip on the front as well
