Ok so I went to my local Metal shop today cuz i was board and picked up some 1/8" steel diamond plate to attempt some rear fenders.. After making them i think i like no fenders better then the ones i made. There my first attempt and I am going to make some different ones later cuz these just don't do it for me.. Tell me what ya think!
Ok so my recent trip plans have been cancelled.. So i decided to spend the money on a long awaited SOA. I went and bought my 8.8 4.10 limited slip rear axle from a junk yard. Im in the process of cleaning it up now.. I have a couple questions! Ok for front axle.. I have a 98 5.9 grand Cherokee sitting outside my shop that I rolled and is totaled out.. So i've been using parts off her. It has 4.10 gears in it.. The Cherokee has a D30 LOW PINION in the front with 4.10 gears.. My wrangler is D30 High pinion.. With stock gears which i think are 3.54.. So i would need to Buy 4.10 gears and a new carrier also. I guess what im asking is.. Can i put the Low pinion D30 in my wrangler in place of the D30 high pinion? Will that mess up the front drive shaft angle? It would be much to easy if i could just switch the gearing between the two . also.. Will i need a Slip yoke eliminator? New rear drive shaft? Thanks WF
Heres a pic of my 8.8 with the mounts grinded off All brake hardware removed and rotors and calipers off.. I bought new rotors lines and pads. One quick question. As far as the rear brake line extension.. Anyone have any input?
You are just a few steps ahead of my yj. Goin with the same stinger, I just am addicted to it, and the led tails, but the clear lens, with a similer rear bumper. I did get my high steer on last week and I think that is my fav mod so far.

Today I am determined to put on my new body mounts! So i have been spraying them with PB for the last week! I pounded on them with the impact gun only to have the 1st 3 snap! Oh well nothings easy! So here is what i did.
Took everything out of the interior
Took the smallest grinder blade I could find and cut squares out of my tub To get to the top of the mounts
And thats as far as i am ATM. Eating lunch and heading back over to the shop

Thanks Franklin. Oh and one more thing.. i need new Emblems.. Pretty much just the side JEEP stickers. Anyone know were i can grab some? thinking I'd get red.. or maybe just go black.. not sure.. Quadratec has them but there like.. 40$ each side! didn't know if someone knew were to get em a bit cheaper?
