I've got the grab handles in mine too and found that if you slide them all the way to the front of the roll bar, it makes it even easier getting in and out. I always use mine since mine's lifted 7 or 8 inches lol.. Good looking YJ btw
Well i got the rc lift on and other then getting my old stock stuff off the install went great. The ride is better then stock right off the bat. And i had it out on the trail yesterday and it also did better then i expected i would say money well spent.
OK so since my yj sees very little street time I decided to give cantilever shackles a try. I have heard good and bad about them just like I have with revolvers. So I put them on to the jeep on a test drive and all seemed well. But now I need longer shocks the ones that came in my lift seemed kinda short anyway. When I am on the bump stops I still have about 3" of shock up travel left so when the suspension is drooped the shock hang before the shackles open up all the way but I jacked the front end up with just one side on and one side stock and the stock side was almost 3" off the ground before the other side lifted. Pics soon
i have not really done much with the jeep here lately other then drive and wheel it. and i have not got many new pics either.
i did end up putting a winch on it. it is just a road shock 10,000lb winch but i got a smoking deal on it and i could not say no.
$75 for the winch and the mounting plate. it was a straight bolt on installation
