Ax5 Transmission problems

I have a four cylinder yj with 32 1150 tires my daily Jeep and toy. I have gone thru two transmissions in two years any suggestions if I should change too automatic or upgrade to ax15.
It's all about having fun!

89 2.5 TBI, 4" RC lift, 1" Booms, SYE, Adams Driveshafts front and rear, Ford 8.8 with 4:88s, BFG 33X12.50X15, and a ton of other stuff.

If you don't want to beef up the transmission go to smaller tires.
