well i have owned this yj for quite a long time and finally got the go ahead from my wife to redo it. i am a bodyman/painter by trade for the past 26 years. i will attempt to add photos, but will not bore you with all the dissassembly stuff. right now all the body panels have been removed and refinished, interior is all removed as well. dash was dismantled and dyed satin black, did the heater upgade and heater core.
i am down to refinishing the tub and firewall.
jeep was origanally soft top and half doors, bought used full doors and welded the common tears back together then replaced all hardware and weather strips blah blah blah. bought a used hard top, removed all the glass and repaired a few areas then sprayed raptor on it. also bought some nice custom fit neoprene seat skins.
reason for the blue balled name is from my wife, she said if i continue to spend as much time working on that darn jeep, i will figure out the meaning the hard way.
any ways if i am able to add pictures let me know what you think, if i am not able please tell me how. the pics will not be in any specific order.
also note that i have owned this jeep for a long time and it has zero rust, some of the pics of the interior may look like rust but it is the old adhesive that was holding down the carpet. the inside will raptored once all the paint work is done

grille

powerline, i have not tried out the headlights as of yet... still finishing up the assembly before i put power to everything. as far as the grille goes it used to have the chrome overlay and i hated it. went with the blue on it as i was looking for a mono-chromatic color scheme. i have built alot of vehicles in the past and just seem to like the look of solid colors with black trim.

thanks for all the positive feedback, keep it comming and i will continue to add pictures and answer questions. as far as the bumper goes it did have some shipping damage to the mount flanges that will need to be addressed before i install but the quality seems fair. thanks for all the feedback
