Hey man...not quite what I'm looking for with the radio. Thanks for sending it though. I'll pass it along if I hear anybody looking for one. might also try posting it on elightbars.org. many people looking for radios on there. .

The weather-proofing is an easy fix, just make a cover for it...the theft, not so much...my car is probably worth 3-4 grand...at any given time I probably have 2k worth of communications equip, 2k worth of fire gear, and probably 700 in my stereo setup, so theft has always been a concern.

I'm thinking some type of cover that will fold over and can be padlocked into place somehow.

Lightbulb

A few updated graphics...realized that the front end was sitting a little too high and would interfere with the shifter, so I adjusted it accordingly.

Anything going under the keyboard/tablet? Lock compartment openable to each side would be cool. Maybe even 2, one for each side with a divider.

Think I gotta pass, too. Good deal, thanks for the offer, but I can't put any more $ on comms right now. Too many "go" parts broke lately.

BlueridgeYJ, I definitely do want to have some type of locking compartment...just not sure how I would go about doing that, any ideas?...also, I think I might ditch the keyboard...just isn't with the extra space for the little bit of functionality I would get outta it.

Gotcha, I'd still be interested in what you're trying to do! Maybe it'll provide some insight for mine too, who knows!

So, where are ya now? Y'all put anything together?

I'm about to build my birchwood center console. It should flow into my trunk perfectly, and I will totally be stealing your design.
