Thank you sir

On Wednesday of last week I sold my Comanche and picked this baby (1995 4.0, ax-15, etc...) up Saturday at home and then drove it 4 hours back to my apartment. So that was kinda exciting not knowing if I would make it or not haha

Currently I have to go back home and pick up the spare windshield from him this one is all rotted out. I'm also going to pick up the replacement rampage top. Currently, the biggest issue is the 33's and 3.07 gears followed behind it needing a new stereo and speakers.

Well I know everyone hates reading so here is some pictures...

The rust/rot

Yes that is expansion foam...that will soak up water..and make it rot out faster....

Now here's some photos on my past two jeeps,

How I got my Cherokee un-running at 17:

One year later:

How I got my Comanche,, running but with a bad head gasket at 20:

Got it in March wasn't able to start working on it till June..

Then how it was that July

With floors too!

And a rebuilt motor...I also got to put a clutch in this baby

Now here I am with a wrangler excepting to feel even more poor here pretty soon.. haha

It may be your first Wrangler, but it look like you have plenty of experience already. Great job on that Comanche, I've been looking for one for a while, but I guess I need to finish my Wrangler first.

Congrats on the YJ.

So obviously you have the typical Ohio body rust, but how is the frame? check the usual spots...rear shackle area, around skid plate, and by steering box.

My advice is look for a late production 4.0 and nothing else unless you have plans to do some swaps!

Surprisingly clean, no real rust on the frame that I can see.

I'm just south of Dayton. But currently I spend 8 mouths out of the year in Kentucky about 40 north of Nashville for school.

Man, I feel bad because I am really lacking on progress and updates. Most of that is due to being a college student. But heres a quick high light of everything or lack there of I have done.

Got a console

Out with the trash in with the new

Gave the dash and doors a new coat

Did some site visits with work

Went offroading and realized how much 3.07s & 33s blow

picked up a 9"

The plan right now is a SOA about 4" rear stretch with XJ leafs and an outboard 4" stretch, now sure what leafs Im going to use there yet I may try and use the XJs. And I still need to pick a D44 regear and rebuild. I just bought a engagement ring so this build may get even slower now. My main goal is to get the axles built and swapped as soon a possible- this Jeep is a pig and I can tell its wearing on the drivetrain.
