And the 35" MT/R's. Kind of pisses me off cause discount only got 1 of the 5 in. But I bet they will be here in the next couple of weeks.

Went ahead and mounted the 35 on the rear just to see how much clearance I was going to have, or not have. I believe once I get the Metalcloak rear flares on and do a bit of trimming to clean up the rear wheel opening I am going to be just fine. The rake of the jeep for right now is because I still have the 31's on the front but I did put another 35 on the left rear.

I think its going to look awesome once he is done.

In the next shot is the offset of the tire/wheel. Remember I am going to be running t he 8.8 which is a bit narrower than the D35, however I am going to do the C-clip eliminator and chomo axles so my width should come back to pretty much even. With the 6" flares of the Metalcloaks I should end up with about 3/4's of tire coverage. I do believe that will work for the girls I go out with

Thank you. I do too.
I did not want to go with a blacked out rim cause it just seems like everyone and their dog is running them. However on the M/T's you can replace the outer ring in different colors. I asked my family to buy me the black rings. I think that will look real good as a contrast to the polished aluminum wheel.

I think those were misdelivered. They were supposed to come to me. Just go ahead and forward them to me.

Got the family style cage in, replaced original sport type, and mocked up. Also rent ahead and put the hard top on just for a place to keep it. Really thinking about going with the spice/tan interior, instead of all black, and spice/tan top. I am thinking that will look pretty good with the darker blue I am planning on painting it. For those who want to google it, I am planning on going with a mid 90's chevy blue called medium blue quazar metallic. It was used on mid 90's corvettes and camaro's.

Got all the tires from discount tire Saturday. Got them mounted on the rims and and installed on the jeep. Looks fantastic in my opinion.

What do ya'll think about the blue with tan top? I am kind of digging it. The actual blue I end up painting it will be a bit darker than what is on there now. With the darker blue and tan I think it will look real nice.

Started wiring up the jeep again. I am so glad I marked every plug. A little hint for those who do a project like this. Make sure you come up with a way to mark the plugs. What I did was took a sharpie and masking tape and wrote on the tape what and where that plug went to then wrapped the tape around the wire going to the pug. I also took lots of pictures of how the wiring was ran and what components went where. Making installation much better.

Just a little advice from someone who "has been there, done that"

Well my metalcloaks wont be here till after Christmas so I decided just to see what it kind of will look like with the front clip on. And also put the rock sliders on it just to see if I can actually get in.

Got my black rings in from my parents for Christmas. Got them on this morning and really liked the looks of the polished M/T with the black rings. When I get my rock guards powder coated and installed with the metalcloak powder coated flares I think it will really look sharp. Click image for larger version

I had some sliders before hand that I thought would work with the cloaks. When I got the cloaks on I found out that there would be way too much fabrication to make them work. So last night I called my dad and asked him if he wanted them for either mom's TJ or is scrambler and he said yes so I am going to order the cloak sliders soon. I am also going to go with their modular front bumper setup as well. I am just so impressed with their craftsmanship. Very, very nice product and great company to deal with.

I've been a fan of theirs since they were REV111.

Let me know what ya'll think about this stinger. This one is one I had laying around the shop that I took of my wife's TJ. So its free. I am thinking about getting a metalcloak one but the style I want will run me about $600.00

I like that stinger. It sticks out quite a bit further than mine does. I like that mine is tall but yours looks tall and deep.
