If you put ontop of old mounts you'll create one hell of a weak spot

On the fuel pump? I'd just cut it.... I mean if it comes down to it you can always add some line with a splice kit, I had to when some f**ktard decided to put a nice hole in my line

Hey whats up guys having problems over here.i want to make sure my car starts ,before i swap frames.anyways this is the problem after lowering the gas tank to the floor i put some heet inside and some gas i got the battery fully charged. and i tried to start the jeep.it takes way to long to start i feel like iam strain the starter, and while iam cranking it the engine starts to cough ,well that's what it sounds like then it finally turns on, but it only stays on for like 3 seconds and dies i tried gassing it and that too makes it turn off.this car hasn't been turned on for like 6 months.it cant be the spark plugs or the distributor because it recently got a tune up in the summer and only used about 1000 miles after that.but then i checked my radiator and there doesn't seem to be any coolant inside ,so that might be the problem.

try ppraying starter fluid in your throttle body when is running. if it stays running then the problem is most likely like a fuel filter is clogged or something. also try putting dry gas and fuel treatement to clean out your engine

sounds like fuel problem, make sure fuel filter isn't a hundred years old, but you really need to check fuel pressure.

when its sputtering giving it some throttle may help, and see if you can keep it runing with the gas pedal

well the gas pedal turned it off.anyways i added more gas and added some starter fluid to the intake manifold ,and some fuel lines and carb cleaner.and vAloah it turned on and stayed on.THanks TY i didnt think your id was going to help but hey it did.anyways i started removing the rear driveshaft.oh btw i highly doubt that i have to remove those old mounts because these new ones just wouldnt have a way on to stick to the frame.Any ideas on how to put this i only got washers and a big screw to go with the tub mount.if i put the screw in upside down it goes right thru .http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...2009_13511.jpg

No dude you remove the old mounts because the pressure from the tub will make them seat just fine and I think you put the bolt head up

If the rear driveshaft is still connected to the transfer case it will spin as soon as you put the Jeep in gear. With only one end attached the other end flops around like crazy and if that's what happened, you'll be lucky if nothing was damaged. It sounds like some of the shift linkage might be caught on something if it won't shift properly. As you take the body off any problems should be revealed.

to get it to stay in park you have to lossen you linkage and adjust it slightly so you can get it to slide the rest of the way and put the trans into park

Been a long time since I popped in. I grew up in the bronx. Anyway you have chosen a pretty big project for yourself there. Sounds like you got the time and the money to spend so your project should come out nicely. I wish you luck and you will find taking pictures of your progress very rewarding! welcome to the forum, I have had great success with the folks in here. Keep it up!
Cheers,
Bern

Hey guys after a half days work ,cuz it started to rain at 4.I got a couple of things done and got plenty of pictures.Lets see i manage to break my right front fender just when i was about to take out the last nut.stuck wasnt the word for it it was all out of shape i couldnt even get it to move.so i tried moving the fender and it wound up breaking.i then just pull the fender out with no care and after all this the nut came out of the tub. What else i removed everything on the left side of the jeep.and started taking out stuff on the right side.I also removed the grille.and radiator and hood.Heres what it looks like.
