Getting really pissed off, bought my 8.8 from American auto parts with 1000 miles on it figured it would be prefect, they said it was complete, turned out bare, bought new calipers rotors brakes made brake lines welded on new spring perches and shock mounts 100% ready to go in the Jeep, fill it with oil and it leaks it the drivers side?

So i got a new seal pulled the axle threw it in, and found that the axle flange is bent, must have had a driver side collision and they didn't bother to tell me, they will be getting an irate phone call in the morning

By tucking the frame back under the body to where it's not sticking out and it will make the 33s look better

Well, I'm gonna leave it for now, cause i might need the space for the motor swap, that nv4500 is a tall transmission,

I was planning a 350 swap but talked with a few people who have done it one guy gave it gas an snapped a motor mount and the motor jerked into and broke his frame and the other guys still has his and goes through driveshafts once every couple of months. Torque seems to be to much for the wrangler but if you have success I will deffinatly consider it next year I'm in the process of cleaning up my frame right now and basically rebuilding the whole jeep soa d44s front and rear 35s 4.0 ax15 bigger brakes new suspension it's been a hell of a project but so worth it once it's done, thank goodness it's not my dd haha, anyway good luck with yours deffinatly keep us updated.

you just cant go too crazy with motor, the 5.3 will have less power than the 350 i was going to put in originally, but that 350 would be too much. you just have to build the rest of the drive train to match the power. if i were you, while you are doing the complete rebuild i'd throw a v8 in and not waste the time with a 4.0

Got my fresh made np241c with 32 spline input and jb conversions sye in. Kodiak Truck installed the sye for free when building it, just bought the sye n shipped it straight to them. Very satisfied fresh Tcase was $540 sye was $340ish. And I gained 6 inches of rear driveshaft with the nv4500/ np241c

Also got my speed hut custom guages in, and put two coats of rubberized bed liner on the dash
