Finsihed cleaning the valve cover and painted. It is enjoyable to see things improve with little work involved.

Came back today from the break and painted my calipers. Next step this week is dropping the oil pan and spraying it to match. I am also changing the freeze plugs, doing this while body is off will help in long run. I read threads on the difficulty of working on the back of the 4.0. No Room!

Oil Pan taken off and sprayed. Should have it back on with new rubber gasket in morning. Starting on freeze plugs then.

while youre installing new frost plugs, you ought to put a block warmer in one of them, if you live in an aera with COLD winters that is.

Just finished replacing factory shackles to add a little room. Bolted up gas tank and ran into issue. I used the tank off the 94 jeep that had a 2.5 and placed it on the 91 frame with a 4.0. There was not an electrical wire hook up on the frame. So I dont know if the fuel pump connection will match, or if the pump has to be replaced. Any Ideas??? And then if it does match or dont, I guess will determin where to go from here. Just another minor setback for BasketCase. Oh also wire wheeled down the original body mount washers and spacers. and started to paint.

Staying focused on the end result is definitely the hardest part.
Same as you, I asked myself a lot of times- why the hell am I doing this?

Nice work bro! Love the black/red combo ;-)

Been stagnet for awhile, but starting to get motivated again.
My buddy has been dragging his feet. I have just bought wheels for the JEEP.

Here they are 15 x 10s. Next going to order tires. Wife and I decided on the RED Letter General Grabbers.

Wife always win in the end!
