Dude bed liner the inside. I just used the duplicolor liner from autozone and its awesome! I have a quarter inch layer of rubber on the floor now. Way cleaner, quieter, warmer/cooler, and awesome looking haha. Well worth it.

I'm not sure a yj can get worse on the highway hahaha. I haven't had problems with it. Just gotta keep her straight and steady.

haha, probably.. i only ask because i put a lot of highway miles on her going from home to college and back.. but on the weekends sometimes i enjoy the occasional offroad trip.. is it worth removing the sway bars you think?

I honestly only notice some bounce. What I did was detach the sway bar from the axle and tie it to the frame for two weeks to see how I liked the handling. Then after two weeks I pulled it.

it matters here. i took them off once and tried it out and it rocked so much it didn;t feel safe on the highway.

i live on the coast though so we have more windy then normal. thats why i commented on if its windy where you live, leave them on.

I live in Colorado and drive the highway to Wyoming without sway bars. Diesels will be overturned and I'm just cruising. Depends on how confident you are in driving.

no it doesn't, thats an ignorant answer. confidence has nothing to do with it and over confidence is what normally gets people killed.

sway bars are there for a reason. some people don;t mind their jeep rocking while driving but i grew up racing and won a few years autocrossing so i know the difference in how a vehicle feels with sways and how it feels with out. i know what they do and how they will help in an emergency situation like when you are on the highway and have to make an abrupt emergency maneuver. just because you feel safe without them, don;t tell some younger inexperienced people to take them off and its perfectly safe because that is very irresponsible. if they weren;t needed, then every vehicle in the united states would not have them from the factory, even other leaf sprung vehicles have sway bars, always have. they are not like trac bar which have no place on a leaf spring vehicle.

sorry if i seem rude. this is a topic that has annoyed me for a very long time because it is a safety issue and since my family and i ride on the roads of america also, i don;t want my kids or wife getting hurt because someone followed bad advice on the net.

I've removed my trac bars and will never put then back on. Get more flex and rides way nicer. My two pennies are that they are useless on YJs seeing as they have leads that keep the axle centered

thanks my tires are 33x10.5 so they probably dont rub nearly as bad as yours, but i get the same problem with rubbing on the leafs and stuff when i turn to sharply.. but as far as spacers go.. if u get a decent set, they look great and help a lot.. my brother and stepbrother both have 1.25inch spacers on their tjs and they look great and give more tire clearance and back spacing.. i may be puttin some on mine this summer, if ur still around ill post on this thread to let u know how they come out!

Its been a while since i last updated.. finished up the college year and stuff and then started a job for the summer so i have finally a little cash to do some mods.. the mods ive done are: removing cat converter and installing thrush muffler, installing a center console, fixed all the zippers on the soft top, made the windshield mount for the soft top, painted my rims black, painted the front bumper and a good portion of frame, and mounted some black diamond plate along the side to remove the side steps.. and added a decal.. lol. Jeezum, i gotta get some pics haha.. didnt realize how much crap i did till i listed it all.. oh, and im getting some 1inch wheel spacers within the week.. will post pictures of all this very shortly!
