Just got done scanning through this and i have to say that I hope mine turns out as nice as yours. Bought my 89 4 cyl. 5 spd. a few months ago. Bone stock with lowish miles. Started with a 2-1/2" RC lift and a few things that it just needed. The rest of my list is just going to take time and money, and im sure you know that a list never ends. Good Job! It gave me a boost to get things started especially since the tempature is going to be a little nicer here soon.

Alright! Summer is only 3 days away! a few really tough finals and then its summer where i am home from college and making money for more jeep projects! Okay, Im just posting to see if anyone is gonna view this or not! If you have seen this thread and see where im at with this jeep project, someone tell me the next step! I have a few things i would like to add during this summer but i will probably only be able to choose a few :P so heres a small list of a couple cool mods, i would love opinions, thoughts, suggestions, advice please!

Stinger bumper
Winch
Tow Hooks
33x12.5s w/spare
Rims with about 4in BS
replace rear passenger shackle mount :x
de-rust frame and bumper
little more yellow painting? :P
quick discos
install longer brake lines

Its an ambitious list for someone with a big cash constraint. Which order would you do them in? and what would u add to the list?

Ok! Finally got a little money saved up for my piece and got it in about an hour ago! Big Thanks to my Uncle for helping me out on this one. It was the rear frame shackle mount section. Here is the beginning to end with it! I will post the painted, and finished version in about 10-20 minutes! but lemme know what you think!

Ok! Just finished another little mod! hopefully more to come real soon! Got this idea from a gentleman on jeepforum.com. went through about 200+ pages of homemade yj mods and found a lot of ideas.. Here is the first i thought to do!

customized the dash color!

Let me know what you think!

Looks real good. The dashes fade and look bad in my opinion. A little new paint and color looks great. The whole jeep great. I like the color.

Actually, no.. I just cleaned them good and gave it a few solid coats. Came out really nice. I tested one section out one year ago maybe?.. I don't remember and its still holding up great so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the whole dash is gloss yellow and black. I'll let u know if it starts chipping or anything but it seems pretty solid.. if you have any other questions let me know man!

Wow man that is one of the best compliments I'd ever received on my jeep! Thanks a lot! and to be honest, I don't think my jeep even compares to a lot of the nice looking yjs on this site :x and thanks for the compliment on the colors I was nervous about it at first but now I'm running with it!

I'm trying to subscribe but I don't know how!

Have you ever thought of putting a brush guard or a winch on your jeep? Something along those lines. I know a lot of people hate having stuff like that because one guy told me that it's "Godey".

Just pulled the trigger on a Paramount Offroad stinger front bumper! JeepAddOns-Chris gave me a great deal with the shipping! Definitely recommend contacting him for deals and such! Anyway, The gentleman I spoke with said it would be here within 6-9 days! beyond excited!

Small update! Put my seat covers back on! (the yellow and black Wet Okoles that a mechanic got all greasy after fixing a part on my jeep a while ago... and my mom cleaned them). Sorry for the long parenthesis. But anyway! the yellow and black dash with the yellow and black seat covers! enjoy! will take pics of them when the top and doors are off also! and still waiting on the stinger bumper!

Wow a lot of TJ's. Are you the only member in the family with a YJ? I know the feeling of waiting for something to come in the mail. I was waiting for two hours in my Jeep waiting for my seat and decided to install this bad boy instead. Glad I did!

I have to raise my receiver hitch but that's not a problem.

Another small little update! haha, my little brother (15yrs old) and I did a little painting on his tj! He wanted to finally do something cool to his jeep and since spray-on bedliner is like $9 at most.. we bed-lined his grill. It actually looks realllyyyyy nice. check it out!

Before: I was actually in the jeep when my brother took the pic lol

After!!! Next to my jeep!
