My "Downward Spiral" 88 yj

I guess this is where i'll post on the progression of my jeep I'm naming it "Downward Spiral"
well here she is as i got her...88 yj 56k miles Ive never owned a jeep or any lifted truck before so it's all new to me, my buddy took me wheelin and I've been bit...My gig is 12 volt electronics and fabrication(been and Installer/fabricator for 16 years)It's gonna go slow cause im a single dad raising 2 kids, this is the first thing I have bought for myself in over 10 years but this should be fun...

started with getting rid of that god awful orange rug...(I know most of you just ditch the carpet and bedline but I plan on using this at car shows for my shop eventually and cant have the sound system sounding like it's in a tin can...)

I always plan things out...i hate rats nests so here is my relay bank and fuses for my accessories... some i don't have yet but made provisions for...

some LED's
more to come....

Nice start. I would have pulled that carpet as well! I like the sub. I am contemplating putting one in mine. I have always had some type of sub but, in a topless Jeep...we'll see. Keep the pictures coming. Kudos on the single Dad thing. Awesome to see you putting your priorities in order. Good luck with your build.

couldn't sleep this morning so I re-upholstered the top of my door panels, cut out new lower sections and SEM vinyl dyed the handles, pocket and center console...

When I got the jeep it came with new calipers for the front.. the bleeders on the old ones were rusted on and there was air in the lines... so since i has the wheels off i hit the shocks and new calipers with paint...( had left over caliper paint in the shop from a job i did a while back..)
