With the axle being off set it could be from your track bar. If the lift did not come with a relocation bracket it could cause the axle to sit to the side. Personally, I would simply toss the track bars in the trash and enjoy a better ride.

I got my spring perches welded on. My welding guy put double welds on them just for extra safety. The tubes where also welded all the way around. Put new seals and new brakes and got it installed on the jeep. Just need to install my driver side brake line and my parking brake cables. also need to make some shock extenders as I only have about an 1" of up travel. Any Idea as why my back end is that much higher then the front? Waiting for new U joints for the front DS and ill be ordering my rear DS today.

Okay I installed everything back on the jeep except my rear DS and my rear shocks (still need to make some extenders) after working on my parking brake I kind of got it to work just needs some minor modifications, in my first attempt to bleed my brakes they where just not working. After reading a few posts I learned that I installed the calipers on the wrong side. When I was switching the calipers I noticed one of them wasn't engaging so I replaced that one. My brakes are working OK now, still need to drive it around and bleed it 1 more time. I took it for a quick spin just to see how it drove had to engage the 4x4 to do that. The jeep has a very wobbly steering I'm guessing it needs an alignment plus every time I shit it tends to push the jeep to the left. another thing my jeep wouldn't start I needed to give it a jump in order for it to start but its just not charging my battery I guessing my alternator went out so ill be checking that too. My check engine light also came on but I thinking its my tps sensor I took it off to clean it but I'm guessing I didn't reinstall it correctly.

So my to do list for this weekend is.

1. complete the parking brake
2. figure out how to do the shock extenders and install my rear shocks
3. check the engine codes
4. remove tps sensor and reinstall
5. disconnect battery overnight to complete remove all codes
7. wire all my roof rack lights
8. install my rear DS
9 take it for a test drive
10. recheck all the bolts

Hopefully ill be done with my to do list by Wednesday.

Okay been working hard on my jeep trying to get it ready for the Big Bear M&G. The only things left on my to do list are:

1. check the engine codes (got 41 meaning something wrong with the alternator) and I know my battery wasn't getting charged. Found the Negative wire loose so I'm hoping that was my problem.
2. disconnect battery overnight to complete remove all codes (dropping off battery at autozone to get it tested and recharged)
3. wire all my roof rack lights (have the fuse block and relays wired just need to wire my switches)
4. install my rear DS (arrives tomorrow hopefully I got the correct measurement)
5 take it for a test drive
6. recheck all the bolts

Okay finished my jeep took it for a spin and wow I surely did miss it after being down for a little over 3 months I enjoyed the ride. But I have an issue after getting my battery tested they told me it was good, I took the jeep in to get the electrical system checked out and they told me the voltage regulator was bad so basically need a new alternator time to upgrade to 160 amp.

I would think the same way but my alternator went bad before I installed the lights.......and after checking the 160amp wont fit due to the plug being different, so ill be going with a 98zj which is 136amp

Got the 136amp installed and it was super easy maybe 20 min tops but still my jeep wouldn't charge checked everything and count find the answer took it to an electrical shop and they told me it was the voltage regulator in the ecu and that the cheapest route would be to go with an external regulator for $120 but that my check engine light wouldn't go away.

Great looking Jeep. What 2" bodylift do you have on it? I'm in the same boat: 35's with 4" SUA, and shackle lift but need a bit more clearance and your 2" looks perfect.

How do you like it? I have been looking at that type of carrier over the swing type that mounts to the bumper.

I like it...and the price was perfect plus it holds 2 Jerry cans. If I had the cash i would go with a full bumper tire carrier, but there is nothing wrong with this style carrier.
