Hello all brand new here to wrangler forum. currently on my second jeep a 94 yj, 2.5 l4 5 speed. and just wanted to let u guys in on my little adventure from bone stock to frankenstein trail rig.
For starters the frame is toast on my yj so i found an 88 frame and chasiss for 450 will be here hopefully this sat. i also have a l6 5 speed and tc from a 91 wrangler hoping to put this all together along with lift and tires and make a sweet ride.
oh i just thought of something did 88 yj's come with the 20 gallon poly tanks cause if they didnt the PO of my frame put one in therefore i dont kno what year sending unit would be in it
I finally got to drive it today!!! even tho it was only from the lawn to the driveway it was still an awesome feeling. yep i have tons of motivation im on leave and "frank" has been keeping me from going home to see the family. so i bought brake line today but it was the pre cut and already flared ones and all of them are too short where do u guys go to get the rolls of brake line?
Any parts store should carry the rolls of brake line. The Jeep is looking good. I have plans of pretty much doing the same thing, But I want a TJ frame.
thanks guys. well the parts store around here dont have the rolls for some reason. i guess ill have to hit up the speed shop. i was tossing around the idea of a yj tub on a tj frame and chassis but that would have been way too much fab me right now (lol i built this one in the lawn lol) too bad tho cause i passed up a smokin deal on one a few months ago
got the exhaust done and the fenders put on and the front brake lines all done today. (reallyh not lookin forward to the back one) tom go and pick up the trans mounting plate and then shes ready for the road!!!!
