Under the hood, inline 4. Not a single problem with her and I've had this rig for well over a month and have drove at least 100 miles.

Sorry I don't mean to be slow but its a reverse hitch? I realize its custom tho. Did you buy it like that or was it an add-on?

Yes. I did paint the dash/door panels. Once I get my new speedometer cluster in a few days (Hopefully tomorrow!) I'll paint the steering column.

I'm going to be riding around the Sutter Buttes in Cali a few days from now (I.E. in my back yard xD) So there will be some really gorgeous pics for you guys.

Also in the mean time I'll give you guys a picture of my Pickup. (I know it's a YJ forums section but if you guys don't all appreciate Jeeps then there are really nice Japanese cars out there for yea!)

Actually, I had a mirror like that in one of my old cherokee's. Why it was in there I have NO idea. It couldn't be driven on the road...

Most people will run a hitch like that in the front so that they can use a removable Winch Cradle. That way the winch isn't always on the Jeep and you have less of a chance of it getting stolen. Also, it makes it more versatile because you can move it to the rear of the Jeep if you have a hitch back there.

You know, I may just do that when I get my new bumpers, That would save me money, and I would have better angles because my front bumper wouldn't stick out 2 feet unless I need it to.

So I got a text from my sister telling me about this Clist yard sale. So I jumped on the computer after messing around with my guitar and found the listing, Horse people...... But they said in the listing they had a lift kit for a TJ Wrangler Jeep. I figured it's only like 12 miles away why not. Went there about 7 in the morning and for $100. I was like WOW! The really nice old guy and his wife was telling me that it came off a TJ and I had to ask about the extra TJ parts. 20 bucks for the non-lift kit parts.

So I don't know much about it besides the fact that it came off of a TJ and that it's a 3'' suspension kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Okie dokie I just got my (new) speedo cluster today! Dropped her in and she works!!!! I've been driving this whole time without it working 119K miles.... Looking good.

Ordered some decals along with cowl seal. Gunna be picking up that Bullbar and fog lights in a week. Running low on extra cash so this next Monday I'm going to be selling my 1979 Jeep J10 Pickup Truck V8 Automatic.

Been doing some research on parts..... $1100 for a full set of 33's and wheels. WOW at least I got a steal on my 3'' lift kit. Sure hope I don't need a set of axles/driveline, dropping TC.

Well we'll see what happens but tell then I'm going to take it slow and do what I can tell the start of next month. Laterz

Got some goodies in the mail yesterday! I finished "3 inch" lift but I don't think it's that big. Ugh it was soooo hot. 103 being under an oak tree putting this kit on was FUN

I did a few other things and I'll take some pictures later today after I give her a bath. Do plan on putting a CB in it because I live out in the middle of no where and I'm kinda redneckish

Tomorrow I'm meeting a guy on Clist for a soft top and hardware kit for 375. I'll check it out and let y'all know how it goes.

Having a hitch on the front makes backing boats/ trailers into tight areas like garages or barns a breeze.

Subbing to this thread because I like this, but question. How do you plan on using the TJ lift for the YJ? Two totally different suspensions. I'm not trying to sound like an ass, it's a serious question haha. We're blessed with leaf springs (if blessed is your word of choice) and you got some coils there. Just curious as to what you plan on doing!

OK ChicoJeepy, you said earlier that you live in the middle of nowhere, sorry dear but I live in the middle of nowhere! I am an hour from Death Valley and my favorite saying about where I live is "I don't live in hell but I can see it from home!".

Another use for the front hitch is for a bicycle rack, I've seen it done before.

Nice looking Jeep and you are having way too much fun aren't you! Keep it up and have a blast.

Nice eye there. Well I finally decided to just remove the OEM shocks and replaced them with these 3'' shocks. Then I used the quick disconnect sway bar links which by the way are absolutely amazing! So the two things I got from that was better handling on rougher roads (Way better then OEM) along with about an inch to half inch. I only paid like 100 for the TJ kit and could only use the shocks and links but I have sold the extra parts since then and well I now didn't pay a dime for them!

So the first thing I plan on doing next month is upgrading my OEM four leaf springs to fives. And then I'll need to trim up the finders about an inch or so (Still trying to figure out what to use) so hopefully I will have close to 3 inch's of lift. So far I don't have any vibrations except for the norm.

This weekend is gunna be long but I promise I'll get photobucket to work and MAN am I going to be taking pictures because I know everyone loves pixs!

P.S. Added a CB, will be taking pictures of that soon. I have a really bad soft top on my jeep right now but it will have to wait after the leaf's come in.
