Rough Country 4.5 X series lift for 88 YJ

I just ordered a Rough Country X Series lift with military wrap springs. My question is if it comes with the transfer case drop kit will it still be necessary to run a slip yoke eliminator?

I plan on getting one eventually but was hoping to hold out for a couple months.

Thanks for the help.

Im running the same lift kit on mine have had it roughly about a month now, the t case drop kit helps keep the angle of your drive shaft within operable angles, im running mine without a slip yoke eliminator kit, but i will be getting the hak n tap kit, but as far as your question no you dnt need a slip yoke eliminator with the t case drop kit. If you ever wheel like rock climb you might want to look into em, as well as a drive shaft.

Okay Awesome, I'll be getting the SYE and drive shaft at a later date cause I'm definitely going to be crawling.
Thanks

How do you like the kit? Will need anything else for the install?

I love it so far! No complaints, only thing the instructions arent that great lol but other than that its good. And you shouldnt need anything else, the kit comes complete.

I have this kit. The instructions do indeed suck, but the Jeep looks bad ass now, and the ride isn't bad. If you haven't done it already, take the track bars off. I left mine off when I put the kit on.

Also, be prepared to go to the hardware store. The kit only gives you half the spring bolts you need, they assume that the frame bolts are actually going to come out intact.

Thanks, I'll be installing this weekend or next weekend. I've been spraying everything with PB blaster to hopefully make it easier. Do you pics of the install and finished?
