Tranny issue.

Ok. Aside from having the rotten peugeot tranny, can anyone think of what may cause it to pop out of gear in reverse??

If the rubber boot is really stiff and it's cold out, ...reverse is not a gear you use for very long, so the boot wants to return to 'normal'. Or if you have a body lift & didn't clearance the shifter.

But most likely, it's just the BA-10 on the way out. Mine did that for a year+ before I swapped out to an AX-15. I just held it in R when needed.
