Ok so this is my very first post here on wranglerforum. I bought a 1990 Jeep YJ a week ago. It has a 3 inch lift, American racing rims, 6 inch fender flares, flowmaster exhaust, rhino lined interior, light bar, no rust anywhere, and some other small stuff too. I love it. I have always loved jeeps ever since I had a rusted out 81 CJ.
Now for the bad. The person who had it before me sprayed primer over the factory red paint. No sanding the factory paint or anything just primed it. I don't know why but he did. Primer is not my color so I am gonna change that.
I will be painting my jeep this week from a gross looking primer to metallic aqua (looks very much like teal) In no means am I a professional but it doesn't need to be perfect. This thread will be pic heavy from start to finish as I transform my 1990 Jeep. Thanks for looking

Sorry its taken me so long but everytime I wanna go paint it it rains up here in West Virginia. So wish me luck on my first real paint job.
