well the motor is in. i managed to get the tummy tuck in, i ripped stock harness off the motor, got all the motor mount bolts in and it all centered, got one of my rear comp cut flares in. and i also decided that im going to use my built np231 soo that i can get the truck up and running for the summer. It also appears i have a ridiculous amount of room between radiator and motor but we will see when i can affoard the proper radiator. also trying to find a fuel cell that i can drop the jeep pump and stuff into or one that can be modded to make fit. put the hood and grill back on since im going back to college today so for a while im going to just being save the $$$$ i need. Should be finished in May since i get home in april for good

Im in need of an adapter for the Th350 to the np231 21 spline that does not consist of changing the output shaft of the tranny and/or the tcase and it slides over the tranny output shaft and into the tcase hole

Just ordered my tcase/tranny adapater from advanced adapters, the novak one was over priced compared to advanced.l it is a direct bolt in with out having to rip apart either. and i found out the tcase is a 23 spline

You sent out your wiring harness?? I have a complete harness i can send it some where to make it simple?? and the AA adapter which im assuming is for the flex plate worked out pretty nice, completely replaces old fly wheel and gets job done. kind of seems like i could of simply put washers on it and grabbed a piece of aluminum and braught it to school and machined it out, but o well

Wich Tcase adapter did you buy? I need the same one and i dont want to take my Transfer case or tranny apart to instal it. I have the Th350 and a Np231 23 spline. Got a link? Nice build so far for sure!

I am using the Advance Adapters TH350 TO NP231 [23 spline]. If you call Advanced Adapters they will know exactly what you need.

Yes, I sent it to Novak. They reprogram the ECM, and re-work the wiring harness. When I get it back, everything plugs back into the 5.3L and there are 6 wires I have to splice into the Jeeps harness.

I hope to get it back this week. They make it sound simple. I will keep you posted...

21 spline input gear and shaft? Bad idea padre. the 21 spline is known to fail from time to time plus atleast with novack the 23 spline has a lifetime warranty on it. Im running theyre adapter in my rig....hell im running there whole damn store in my rig I got every single part a man can get for a carbed 350 and 700r4 swap in a yj.

Hello Jeepy! I am STILL waiting for my harness from Novak. ($650) They said it would take 2 weeks and it has been 3 weeks so far. I talked to them Friday and they "promised" to have it to be the end of next week. They were a little snotty about. Basically stalled my build for 2 weeks...
I would check around and see if someone local can do it. I found a guy here and should have taken it to him. He would have helped with the hook up too.
Anyway, I replaced all my u-joints today and got the drivelines installed. If I had a wiring harness, I could be driving it down the road! Check out my build.

Ya i talked to them and they said what you just did. I might have them reprogram my computer and have a local place do mine but im not sure yet. I need to be home to be able to start asking around. Im basically waiting for the quad to sell so that i can have money for everything. if not im doing a very slow saving process at only 100 a week and needing about 2000 to finish it. I have the 23 spline tcase i wasnt paying attention when i said i had the 21.

So I was home for easter weekend, i worked on the Jeep most of the day saturday. got the transfercase in with the adapter. got both driveshafts in. It would appear that its shorter then the stock set up. i did some investigation on my front axle and realized i put the shims in backwards and thats why my high steer arms are down a few degrees rather then up a few degrees, soo next time im home i will aim that up and start welding up the perchs for front suspesnion. I ordered all the parts i will need for my front suspesnion. heres some pics
adapter

headers

adapter with mount bolted up

adapter bolted to tranny

the last of my suspension goodies thanks to ruffstuff

tcase in

driveshaft angle. about 2 inchs higher then final resting place because i had it higher so i can make the adjustments to the home made tummy tuck. Even though i would get away with keeping my rear axle in the stock position i think im going to shift it back a few inchs anyways

I also ripped off the engine oil coolers that run through radiator. I have the cap to plug that sitting in my room, the headers are still sitting in my room. My birthday is in a few weeks so im hoping i will get enough money then to order my harness. and the radiator i wanted is on a type of back order for a few weeks.

I am pretty sure it was an advanced adapter one. bolts right up very smoothly rather then then having to change the tail shaft and stuff. ive never really been so happy with a part. Birthday is tomorrow and i get home from college on monday so i expect to get some money then to finish the truck. Been going out a lot with chicks which is cutting my funding a little bit :/

OK so ill be home for a few months starting later today. I am going to order my radiator and cooling fan today or tomorrow. i think there will be a lot of room and if soo im going to rip the motor back out, remove the motor mounts from the block, and shift them back about a half inch which will move it foward so i can get an even better drive shaft angle

been working on my friends truck who bent his chassis from a front end collision, but i still got some stuff done on my jeep here is pics
flexing leaf springs last time before replacement.

rear flexing a lil with comp corners

ripped out grill again

building cross brace

finished
its gonna act as a fish plate and a cross brace. havent welded it yet because i want to make sure it doesnt hit new radiator and stuff

truck will be way too high if i mount it on buttom
new coil mount made and truck resting on it

the drivers side will be the trucks new ride height, the body lift is coming off as well so in theory it should equal out. if its unstable or doesnt ride the way i want it to ill drop to 4 ir 6 inch lift coils
