I know this is an old post but, are you still making the grilles? If so, I would be interested in learning more.

Die hard square eyes! really gr8 job on this mod guys and you're right this discussion can go on & on, but this is not for me...I'm changing lots on my YJ but the lights stay...I don't dislike roundies but I would've bought those particular models if I wanted O's

I think it looks great. But I do own a CJ and as much as I loved my YJ I always wanted the headlights to be round. If I ever get another YJ, which I do want one again, I'll have to try this out or if you're making them by then, just get one from you.

Thanks to those who have commented since I visited last. Here is an update for those interested in one.

I have done a few grill conversions and sold them. They all turned out great. I will still do them for those who are interested. My email is chadbrooks123@yahoo.com and my cell is 502-552-6335 for any questions.

Above is a recent picture of my friends jeep that we originally did.

Just landed a set of CJ lights off eBay. My winter project will be to convert from square to round. Square is not bad...I just like the cj look more. This is my first jeep and the price was right. Thats why I ended up with a 95YJ.

Looks good, wouldn't mind these, but doing a full hood/fender/grill conversion is way cheaper Pretty sure I saw this on here or Jeepforum and the price imo was way to much, that for a grill I mean, I'm sure the time spent making it is why it is so costly but not in my budget anytime soon

I really like this conversion.... I love my square eyes... but this would be cool cause it is different looking with our squared off hood and the bent grill slat for the round headlights

I wonder what the cost is

If I remember right it was like 500-700$? It was awhile back I saw it though. It could well possibly be more or cheaper, but I think it was in that range.

Here it is.

Up for grabs is a YJ grill with round headlights.

I posted these pics in the builders corner part of this forum when my buddy and I did this to his YJ. We had several requests for these and made a few extra. I don't know if we will make more once these are gone.

A cj grill and a yj grill were merged together for the outcome you see iin the pics below. The grill wll be ready to bolt in with no fab work left for you to do except add your parts and paint. The red one shown is just for reference.

This grill outright is $725.00.
If you send me one of the two grils to replace one that I used it is $625.00
If you send me both grills this one is $525.00

Prices are plus shipping.

I am set up to take paypal under my ebay screen name (Lavern23) and have positive feedback on ebay. Please check me out.

I know it's probably worth it, just for a grill not for me. I'd much rather spend 700$ on other things

I have had several questions about the grill lately and one is if we will make anymore. I will make them on request. So yes they are still available. Thanks for the interest and comments. Its interesting to see the differences in the opinions.

It kinda makes me think of a Jeepster for some reason. I like it a lot in a weird way. I would love to by one if the finances permitted it, but the wife is in control of the checkbook. Off to the junkyard to see what I can find.

Nice work.... the only reason I like it (kinda, I'm fond of the square eyes) is the cj style where the round lights protude into grill slots territory. My yj seen this as I was looking at it and was so distraught I just had to buy him new SQUARE eyes.... Delta HIDs. In all seriousness it does look cool and from what I can see good craftsmanship.

I too, am in the camp of liking my square headlights. That being said, I like the look of your grill better than the CJ grill and lights. Perhaps it is the squared off top that sets it apart. Fabulous work guys.
