Ok I'm going to do you all a favor........

Kentrol Grill With Round Headlights (Uses TJ Headlights & Buckets) 30646

Now you can buy one instead of bugging the poor guy to death to build you one....LOL

Granted it uses the square parking/turn signal lenses same as the TJ, but hey, give it time, someone will come along with one with round parking/turn signal lights.

Myquite...nice job.

Norcal_Chris...is was all fine til you made the "downs" comment. Do you know anyone who has it or who's child has it? That comment has no place here.

Your $50.00 grill looks at home on your "piece".

I sure do. Thanks for your concern. And way to be a big guy and throwing the sly "insult" in there.

Edit: just realized you were the one that posted the conversion you made. Guess thats why you are butthurt.

The comment wasn't sly. That's why it was separated from the previous one. I could careless what you think of the custom work. It wasn't done for you. If the negative comments bothered me about the grills I would have responded a couple years earlier.

If you did care about a person with "downs", you wouldn't use them in such a description to be derogatory.

Edit....You've missed it Norcal_Chris. The banter was about you being an asshat and disrespecting downs-syndrome and those involved with it.

If it didnt bother you, then why did you PM me and then post what you PMed?

Reguardless... I am glad, as well as the others, that you are happy with the finished product you made. Save your banter for someone else.

I would honestly eat a bullet if my jeep looked like this. But it's not my jeep now is it?

My grill is not for sale. It's such a pain in the ass, and it's not even done. I've decided i wasn't happy with the headlight angle so i'm doing a bit more cutting and welding.

I'd disagree with his rig being a "piece"...just saying. But everyone has their own opinions on things...some may like your fab work..some may not. Its a free country to think what you want. I think the protrusion of the lights is kinda ugly and the lights do seem a little close. But good work nonetheless!

I like it. If I had the spare change it's something that I would definitely consider. I'm not ashamed of the YJ rectangles, I think they look good but I like the round headlights better.

I just like the fact that its different....there's a bunch of YJ's here in my town & I honestly just want something different than anybody else's rig. My question is I was told the other day that the JK headlight can will fit in the CJ grills....it was said that they are the same diameter.

Is this true?....because if so I definitely like the sound of this conversion in order to get some way better quality headlight cans with HID's for better visability.

Lavern23, I think it's awesome to step out and do something that's makes ones rig unique. I have read all the post and feel that some of them miss the point of your original post. What I got from it was you were proud of the time and energy you spent on an idea you came up with and wanted to show what could be done with a little time and energy. Post like this are great to look at to maybe spark up someone's own creativity to come up with other ideas to make their jeep stand out a little from all the others. Keep up the good work and if you come up with anymore ideas please post them. I look at pics of everyone's jeeps on here to get ideas for mine, but try to put my own twist on them to make it my own. I love being able to "stick out my chest" when talking to people about my jeep and the work I've put into it. I think that's what makes a jeeper, regardless of what model, unique people. I've only had mine for less than a year but here is the difference from then to now.

Jchango, we can always paint it if you want to pull it out.

Jayscott13, thanks for the kind words. You got the intent of my original post. I never intended to make any more than the one we did for my friends jeep. I would have never thought I would be working on number 17 right now and that it will be headed to Norway.

You jeep looks good by the way.
