Watching the vid...I wish I had smell-o-vision on my computer...Love the sound of the 304, and even like the good old smell of dino-juice burning out of the exhaust even better...Looks sweet Nick. Nice to see it coming down the home stretch for you.

Thanks. I am very proud of the work done. It will be nice to finally drive it down the road finished.

Thanks! I'm proud.

I did not put anything behind them. I am not concerned with the paint since I did no body work where they are mounted. If I ever decided to not use them I would have to repainting anyway. They do have some gap that will help clean out.

But with that said, when I removed the diamond plate corner guards I ran for 6 years or so there was surprisingly little paint damage. I'm hoping I get the same luck but my paint is acrylic enamel with no clear coat. Tougher paint than base/clear.

I have seen where others have used silicone to seal which looks like it works but would have to be removed... Which would suck.

I hope that answers your question.

Don't drive thru McDonalds with Josh standing in the tub like that. He would lose that purdy hair for sure.

I drove it down the road in front wheel drive, with an Aussie in it. Once. It won't happen again. Ever.

No, turning was easy. Driving straight was the problem. Wow, it was scary.

Me and Josh got the sliders 90% installed. I ran out of hardware. I think they look really nice.

I also installed my new hood latches.

Thanks. They are excellent quality. I am a little upset on delivery. Between me ordering and calling to ask where they were he had pretty much fired all his staff and hired new. He said it was what he needed to do. They were suppose to ship in a week and they shipped in 3.5 weeks. I called after 3 and he explained what happened but a call would have been nice.

They were expensive but I got what I wanted.
