Need more leg room!!!

Have a 82 CJ5 and looking for a way to get the driver seat to slide back further. I know that Misch Big Boy makes them for the newer models but I can't seem to find anything for the older Jeeps. I'm 6'2" and looking for a solution. Btw, I'm not opposed to a little "Redneck engineering"!

Since you're not opposed to Redneck Engineering, build yourself a set of offset brackets that mount to the original mounting holes and drill the bracket where you can have full movement of the slider in the range you prefer. Shouldn't be too hard.

Not sure. Looks like the only option is to cut into the frame. Oh well, it's a Jeep. If I wanted comfort I would have bought a Honda but the Made in USA can't be beat!

keep us posted on your fix. Between leg room and belly room, I think a lot of people are interested.
