87yjjeepy's salute the troops and vets miltary jeep project.

Doing this for another forum member who is unable to post photos. Enjoy and let the man know what you think.

My own say, I think it looks great and as an 11B4, always appreciate genuine support from people such as this.

Got room on that roll bar pad for another patch? Send me an address and I'll send a patch from Assault Craft Unit Four. US Navy Hovercraft!

thanks alot vic for posting for me ! ya my project has a way to go yet. ill gladly take military patch donations to fill up the roll bar padding. the serial number on the hood was my grandfathers ww2 dog tag serial number and thats a salute to him. i plan to evently use it in parades . if any one has any ideas for it, shoot em' at me. thanks guys !

just to let u guys know, the flag on the windshield is a WW2 D-DAY windshield decal reproduction. on the backside of it is wade/fordjing instructions for driving off of LST's (landing craft) . eventually ill mount a military antanna, a jerry can and pioneer tools.

i also have several old army pup tents purchased to have cut up and upholstered for mil-looking seat covers. id would think that canvas would last the rest of the vehicles life. im gonna have evering double stiched and reinforced.

GREAT looking jeep and thanks for your support. I think I'd tighten up the rope on the front though. Looks like you've done a lot of nice work.
